FAQs

Tap on the arrows and icons in the middle of the screen or swipe left and right to access the required part of the app – including a Quick Start (including Guided Study), Information, Study and Learn content (including the full copy of the Highway Code), a Practice session with hints or a completely realistic timed mock test as well as the Progress view.

Use the icons on the scroll wheel in the middle of the screen to move around and access any aspect of the app. Any options are shown in a list underneath the scroll wheel.

Access further information and help by tapping on the (i) icon on the top right hand corner of the screen.

Access further options during each session by tapping on the line symbol on the top left hand side of the screen – and then by tapping on the required symbol for further information and toggle individual features.

Close any overlay pages using the cross on the top left hand corner of the screen.

You can listen to the voiceovers when your device is connected to the Internet only. The voiceovers are available in English and can be listened to by tapping the text you would like to have read out. This is for all questions and candidate answers in the Practice and Mock Test mode.

Should you hit a problem as a first port of call try to close the App and then re-open it.

To force close an app on Android, click on the square button at the bottom to make a list of the active apps appear on your screen. Find the app you want to close in the list and swipe the app away to the side. Now press the home button (circle icon at the bottom) to return to normal operation, look for the The Complete app on your screen and re-start the app by tapping the icon.

To close an app on iOS double click on the home button. This will show all the active apps as windows that can be scrolled through. To close an active app swipe to the top as soon as the app you wish to close in on the top. Now press the home button to return to normal operation, look for the The Complete app on your screen and re-start the app by tapping the icon.
